Balnevia documents thermal baths, historic bathhouses, mineral springs, thermal resorts and spa towns around the world. Each entry is written and verified individually: the water, the architecture, the place, and what it is actually like to bathe there.

We are not a beauty-spa directory, a medical resource, or a booking engine. Where a recommendation is commercial — a ticket, a hotel, an experience — it is labelled as affiliate or sponsored, and it is only included when it is genuinely useful to a visit.

The database is growing. Records are published as they are researched, and information that has not been verified is left out rather than guessed.
